The Riu Jalisco is located in the resort area of Nuevo Vallarta, 15 minutes from the airport. It is about 25 minutes north of downtown Puerto Vallarta.

Description |

5 star, all-inclusive resort with 700 rooms.
A white, Mediterranean Palace, Moorish style arches and columns, triangular turrets, gardens and walkways surrounding 2 lagoon pools. The golden sand beach stretches for miles.
Note: Guests staying at this hotel do not have exchange priveleges at the newer (2006) Riu Vallarta.

700 air conditioned rooms in a five story building. Rooms have two double beds, bathroom with shower only, hair dryer, liquor dispensor, mini-bar, ceiling fan, in-room safe and balcony or terrace, satellite tv, telephone, separate sitting area. Specific views are on request only. Junior suites have bathroom with bathtub and bidet, larger sitting area, dressing room, jacuzzi on upper terrace.

There are 4 restaurants. Don Emilliano is the main restaurant serving buffet style with show cooking stations. La Botana is the beach restaurant and snack bar serving continental breakfast, lunch and snacks during the day. At night, it becomes a Grill Steakhouse.
Dona Adelita, is a second buffet restaurant, also with separate show cooking stations. Theme dinners twice a week. Nayarit, is an a-la-carte restaurant offering Italian cuisien during the day, and at night it becomes a Brazilian Rodizio.
