Grand Velas All Suites & Spa Resort is located beachfront, in the resort area of Nuevo Vallarta. It is 15 minutes from the airport, and 25 minutes to downtown Puerto Vallarta.

This award winning super-luxury all-inclusive resort hotel is a member of the prestigious "Leading Hotels of the World". It is also a "Leading Spa for 2005". And Conde Nast Johansens voted the Grand Velas as the Most Outstanding Resort in it's 2005 Awards for Excellence.
The property was built in 2002.

There are 161 air conditioned suites, all with ocean view, and approximately 1000 square feet.
Parlor Suites have two queen beds, bathroom with shower and tub, hair dryer, living area, pullout sofa bed, stocked mini bar (included), laptop-size safe, iron w/ironing board, and balcony or terrace. Occupancy limited to 4 with a maximum of 2 kids. Kids age 4 and under stay free. Kids age 5-12 pay child rate.
Master Suites are the same as above, but with one king bed and jacuzzi tub. Maximum occupancy is two. Adults only.
Also included: 24hr limited room service, white goose down comforters, down pillows (choice of 8 pillow menu), coffee maker, 29" flat screen digital cable tv, DVD/CD/MP3 player, vanity mirror, electronic key card, daily turndown service, bathrobes & slippers, Gilchrist & Soames Spa/Bath amenities, high speed wireless internet (fee).

Cuisine at Grand Velas crosses the culinary world, fusing traditional flavor with artful presentation and complete atmosphere. There are three restaurants.
Azul - is an all day casual restaurant, located in the pool area, with ocean views. You can order Chinese, Japanese, Mexican, Italian, or the Grill menu's fine cuts & seafood, from any of the five open kitchens.
Frida - is a fine Mexican specialty restaurant, open evenings. Live music and ocean views.
Lucca - is an Italian specialty restaurant also open evenings only. Live music and ocean views.
Each restaurant has an extensive collection of wines available at extra charge. A Sommelier is on staff.
Dress code applies in restaurants. Men wear upscale resort wear including slacks and a nice shirt. (No shorts or sandals at dinner)

There are three inter-connected infinity pools, each with it's own water temperature. Separate childrens pool. Beautiful, landscaped grounds, and 300 meters of gorgeous beach, good for swimming in the ocean, and for taking long walks.

This fabulous resort is perfect for couples and honeymooners, yet it also caters to upscale families with kids, and small business meetings.
The World Class spa is not to be missed.
Do not confuse this resort with the Velas Vallarta, which is a more moderate, sister property.
