The Dreams Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa is located 20 minutes from the airport, and just 5 minutes south of downtown.  It lies between two mountains that come right down to the ocean, which provide for a very private beach setting.

The resort was formerly called the Camino Real.

There are 3 refreshing swimming pools, two with swim up bars.  One is great for seclusion.  The beach is 500 meters of golden sand.  Boogie boards, beach volleyball, and beach soccer, kayaks, beach rappel.  The ocean is swimmable, but can sometimes be rough so be careful.

There are pool and beach waiters for drink service from your chaise lounge.

This is a great vacation hideaway hotel.  It is very convenient to downtown Puerto Vallarta's shops, restaurants, markets, and night life.  It is also close to eco-tourism excursions that are offered in the area.  Check with the travel desk on arrival for current offerings.
