There are 6 restaurants. Agave, serves Mexican cuisine, dinner only, reservations and dress code. Buffet, serving international dishes. Captain Morgan Steakhouse is a casual restaurant by day and steak house by night...later a lively disco. Don Quixote, Spanish cuisine, dinner only, reservations and dress code. Grill Restaurant, serves snacks and casual foods. Rancho Grande is a beach restaurant under a giagantic palapa with pizza buffet service. For restaurants with dress code, gentlemen wear nice pants and a shirt, ladies casual elegant.

The Barcelo Maya resort is perfect for families. The beach is one of the nicest in the Riviera Maya, and the snorkeling is best available from a hotel beach. There is a huge variety of activities to choose from. Since 1999, we have sent hundreds of clients to this resort, and everyone seems to love it. The only complaints we get are about how large the resort is. But many people go back year after year.
The Barcelo Maya Tropical/Colonial Resort is located next to this resort, and has an additional 948 rooms.
This is the newer of the two resorts.
A third Barcelo Resort is currently under construction next to the Barcelo Maya Tropical/Colonial.
